Description

The Manager, Compliance Nursing reviews utilization management activities and documentation to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations and to prevent and detect fraud, waste, and abuse. The Manager, Compliance Nursing works within specific guidelines and procedures; applies advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems; receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines approach, resources, schedules and goals.

Responsibilities

The Manager, Compliance Nursing ensures mandatory reporting completed. Conducts and summarizes compliance audits. Collects and analyzes data daily, weekly, monthly or as needed to assess outcome and operational metrics for the team and individuals. Decisions are typically related to resources, approach, and tactical operations for projects and initiatives involving own departmental area. Requires cross departmental collaboration, and conducts briefings and area meetings; maintains frequent contact with other managers across the department.

Required Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree
6 or more years of technical experience
2 or more years of management experience
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the (appropriate state) with no disciplinary action.
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences


Preferred Qualifications


Knowledge of National Committee of Quality Assurance (NCQA) requirements
