Description:

The Faculty of Health is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and dedicated Senior Administrator to join the Faculty Compliance Team. You will be responsible for supporting students and staff working mainly across the Schools of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences. Additionally, you will have direct responsibility for a Grade 4 Compliance Administrator. The main focus of the Compliance Team is to ensure our students meet; the disclosure and barring service (DBS); health; and professional requirements necessary for them to commence and continue their studies and engage in clinical placements. Under the direction of the Compliance Officer, you will be jointly responsible for co-ordinating the activities of the team and for the delivery and continuous development of a customer focused, cost effective and efficient compliance and occupational health, monitoring and administrative support service. You will be responsible for all aspects of Occupational Health, Professional Issues Committee, Incident Reporting and Fitness to Practise administration, providing regular and exception reporting and compliance advice to colleagues and stakeholders within the University, our partner organisations and professional organisations. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, well-organised individual with relevant qualifications, demonstrable experience and an excellent eye for detail. The ability to work accurately and flexibly in a busy and constantly changing environment is essential. Experience of working in a student compliance / appeals / disciplinary role, dealing with complex and sensitive information and managing difficult conversations is desirable.
