JOB OVERVIEW
Responsible for all functions related to endowment and critical functions for treasury investment portfolio operations, including activity, analysis, reporting and compliance with university, state and federal regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*Serve as primary liaison and provides treasury and accounting support to the Investment Office. *Perform analyses and assists in recommendations on a variety of treasury activities including, but not limited to, internal investment activity, external investments, banking relationships, cash management, endowment accounting, endowment treatment of gifts, validation of investment performance calculations and addressing and resolving university departments issues and concerns. *Manage bank interaction, including account establishment, required investment activities, compliance monitoring systems and problem resolution. *Validate performance return calculations, verify investment valuations, monitor compliance, execute transactions, collaborate with the Investment Office. *Monitor investment portfolio compliance and validate portfolio performance. *Prepare and review reports for Chief Investment Officer/Investment Committee presentations. *Collaborate with the Controller's Office in the production of the financial statement footnotes. *Prepare reporting documents to outside third parties, including for rating agencies and for other institutional requests. *Assist with other areas of treasury management when called upon, including but not limited to accounts receivable management, merchant services and PCI compliance. *Perform related duties based on departmental need. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
*Bachelor's degree in accounting finance or related field required. *Five (5) years of experience in accounting, cash management, investment management and reporting, working with back office operations.
