Description
The Director, IT Compliance audits the most complex new and existing information systems applications to ensure that appropriate controls exist, that processing is efficient and accurate, and that information systems procedures are in compliance with corporate standards. The Director, IT Compliance requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across the function or segment.
Responsibilities
The Director, IT Compliance works with all parts of IT to ensure that the appropriate controls exist, operate effectively and that information systems procedures are in compliance with industry and corporate standards. Decisions are typically related to the implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects for the function and supporting technical/operational procedures and processes, and implements strategic plans, drives goals and objectives, and improves performance. Provides input into functions strategy.

Responsibilities:
Manage Technology Compliance for TRICARE Contract
Provide leadership to team for all activities related to the TRICARE Contract Compliance requirements as well as Contract Changes and request
Provide leadership to team for all activities related to Privacy and HIPAA Compliance
Accomplishes reporting compliance objectives by leading compliance staff and communicating and enforcing values, policies, and procedures to direct reports, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Sets strategy for how to most efficiently meet and exceed all Compliance requirements measured in the TRICARE Manuals to include DoD Clearance Compliance.
Ensures compliance with federal and state laws, HPAA, DoD and TRICARE regulations and Humana's information privacy and information technology practices.
Establishes DoD compliance standards and designs improvements to internal control structures.
Ensures all activities in the Humana Military Domain meet established Enterprise and DoD guidelines to include Multi Factor Authentication
Coordinate with business leads and develop strategies to implement various IT solutions effectively to foster efficiency for the enterprise as well as ensure organizational readiness for unexpected disasters.
Ensure IT system and organizational compliance with the Security / Compliance NIST Department of Defense security standards and reporting of Self-Attestation and Compliance to the government.
Collaborate with enterprise information protection team to plan Security Systems and Develop Security Requirements
Provide leadership and direction for a team responsible for ensuring systems utilized meet Humana and DHA security requirements
Provide leadership to team for all activities related to the annual DHA security audit
Ensure Humana Vulnerability Management meets all Enterprise and DoD requirement's
Provide requirements and oversight to Security for Routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices meet DoD NIST Guidance
Team Building and Management
Work with team members to develop and execute action plans designed to achieve and maintain a high level of associate engagement
Work with HR and IT leadership to recruit talent to fill open positions
Provide effective team leadership by ensuring each member understands their role and expected contributions by holding regular 1 x 1 meetings and team meetings
Conduct performance appraisals as directed by company policy
Required Qualifications:
5 years of technology compliance experience, and progressive leadership experience
2 years of IT management and project management experience
Bachelor's degree, technical area preferred and/or equivalent work experience
5 or more years of management experience
Experience with cloud platforms and services
Experience integrating federal compliance requirements with existing technologies
Experience implementing technology compliance and security requirements with enterprise-wide impact
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences, business value delivery, and leading high performing teams.
Change agent with a strong business-orientation, able to navigate complexity in achieving specific business goals
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with a proven ability to lead complex initiatives in a highly matrix organization
Experience with Microsoft Office or similar tools
Leadership skills including mentoring, motivation, team building and collaboration with other leaders/teams in a matrix environment
Strategic thinker with the ability to quickly grasp business strategy, ability to storyboard and drive business model innovation leveraging technology

Successfully receive interim approval for government security clearance (eQIP - electronic questionnaire for investigation processing)

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree
CISSP or CEH or similar certification
