Description
Humana is seeking a Software Entitlement and Compliance Specialist who will be accountable for partnering with specific business areas to support both hardware and software asset management processes including full software lifecycle management, compliance, optimization, audit data requests and merger & acquisition support.
Responsibilities
This is a 'hands-on' role where the Software Entitlement and Compliance Specialist is responsible for:
Entering Software license entitlements and contracts into the software asset management repository which is considered the source of truth
Translating Terms in contracts into the proper software asset management metric engine
Ensuring Software discovery is normalized to software entitlements/models
Creating and presenting valid Position statements for software technologies per Compliance Schedule
Identifying under-utilized and 'at risk' software candidates for Reclamation
Responding to Audit and M&A data requests efficiently and accurately
Partnering with Product owners/IT Technology owners to optimize outcomes
Executing Software End of Life and End of Support Processes
Performing Software CyberSecurity Analysis
Partnering with Hardware Asset Management team
Participating in ServiceNow SAMPro module testing utilizing QTest
Role Essentials
Five plus years' experience in software asset management
Demonstrated Subject Matter Expertise of licensing agreements for high profile vendors (Oracle, Microsoft, Salesforce, etc.)
Strong Focus on Data Quality
Knowledge of software asset management tools, specifically ServiceNow SAMPro
Demonstrated ability to perform research and interpretation of Software Contracts
Good understanding of SaaS and other cloud hosted license models
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to translate analytics into action and use the data to impact and influence business outcomes
License key management and Named User allocations
Strong ability to carry out multiple assigned tasks independently
Microsoft Office proficiency - able to write queries, create forms, reports, presentations and documents in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Required Qualifications
Five plus years' experience in software asset management
ServiceNow SAMPro or similar Software Asset Management tool experience
IAITAM CSAM Certification or similar industry standard certification
Experience assessing the impact of change on service quality and SLAs.
Experience establishing metrics that can be monitored against a benchmark
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
