Description
The Compliance Nursing Coordinator 2 reviews utilization management activities and documentation to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations and to prevent and detect fraud, waste, and abuse. The Compliance Nursing Coordinator 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
Responsibilities
The Compliance Coordinator 2 ensures mandatory reporting completed. Conducts and summarizes compliance audits. Collects and analyzes data daily, weekly, monthly or as needed to assess outcome and operational metrics for the team and individuals. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.
EMR administrator for clinical and non-clinical associates
Support initial onboarding and training of new associates
Provide administrative support to the Regional Medical Director
Required Qualifications
2 or more years of administrative experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to work independently under general instructions and with a team
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Mentoring, training or precepting
Health Plan experience working with large carriers
Previous Medicare/Medicaid experience a plus
Previous experience in utilization management, discharge planning and/or rehab
